About Will Nemitoff
William Nemitoff received his Master of Architecture degree from Tulane University in New Orleans, Louisiana. During this time, he focused on digital fabrication and innovative structures in architecture while studying multimedia sculpture with glass artist Gene Koss. Upon graduation, Nemitoff remained in New Orleans and spent the next four years as Designer and Director of Fabrication for Raven Production Management Group, a rapidly growing production company. There he worked on varied and complex projects, including large-scale installation art, custom props, stage sets, and events. This experience gave him an extensive understanding of multi-material assemblies, lighting, digital fabrication, large scale project management, and collaborative design.
Nemitoff founded Curious Form, a creative fabrication studio, where he leverages his knowledge of diverse materials and building methods to craft innovative concepts, custom furniture, collaborative art, and impactful public installations. 3D modeling and cutting-edge machinery enable him to create precise organic shapes with bold clean lines. Always curious, Nemitoff seeks inspiration from interests in science, technology, and the natural world.
Nemitoff's installations and permanent work have been featured internationally, including the events Hangout Music Festival, Georgetown Glow, Canal Convergence, Toronto Light Festival, and Burning Man. His current work places emphasis on drawing people together through interactive lighting and creating opportunities for audience engagement, building community, and sparking a sense of curiosity and wonder.
