Water Dragon

Water Dragon erupts from the warm sand at Hangout Music Festival breathing jets of water. The work is made from aluminum composite material that is CNC cut, folded, and riveted into the dynamic shape of a dragon. Composed of four separate sections, the body of the dragon appears to rise out of the sand with the head, two curved sections of the body, and tail emerging from the sand. Water Dragon gives festival-goers a place to hang out and cool off, spraying water from its mouth and offering pockets of shade throughout the day.
